PB Power
1999 was the centenary of the firm which invented the modern power station and the National Grid and pioneered the privatisation of the UK power industry, Merz and Maclellan.
I researched and wrote its commemorative history.
When the firm merged with Parsons Brinckerhoff, the global engineering consultancy with 9,000 employees world wide, I wrote the flagship brochure for the new Power Division, several specialist brochures and articles for the newsletter.
“ I read it at the weekend and it wasn't like taking work home, it was so enjoyable. Even the technical aspects were covered in a way that was interesting and (mostly) understandable even for a non-engineer.” Maria Laffey, Head of Marketing and P.R.
